hello and welcome to story news I'm Emma Angela Gonzalez and I'm Leah and today is an update on what has been going on in our school how is your spring break talking to you anyways here's Malia interviewing some of the kids at montemalaga about their spring break Jackson and her spring Waco Palm Springs with my friends and played outside spring break Island to Zion National Park in Utah and I went on lots of hikes it's spring break I went to Las Vegas to visit my uncle and went swimming Charlie and for spring break I went to Medieval Times and spent the night on the Queen Mary AnnaSophia and I went to Hawaii over spring break spring break Island to Alisal ranch with my best friends is l I went to Columbus and I went to Great Wolf Lodge spring break I hope you had a good time our next story is about one of the symbols of Easter eggs tell us about these colorful Foods hi it's Malia spring is right around the corner and you know what spring brings Easter Easter is going to this year's going to be on April 21st Easter is a Christian holiday for Christians are the only people who celebrate Easter did you know that the ancient which means really really really really old Egyptians Persian Phoenicians and Hindus all believed the world started with an enormous egg also Easter celebration of the beginning of 17 might decorate eggs but and those of you who do do you guys beautiful someone's like really activities are trash every Tuesday family yoga night we are green Spirit day and campus beautification day I think we're awake is a great way to say celebrate Earth Day this fun event is Rockefeller 4th graders take it away Cara the first graders did something called walk through California this month what do California the program to help students learn all about California's history memorize facts dress-up and roll places related to California's history Ginger split up into three teams as they compete for point similarily the 5th graders are doing walk through the American Revolution the American Revolution was a war friend dependence between the colonies which is now the United States and Great Britain United States win its freedom from Great Britain the War lasted 7 years and many people died guess what United States won its independence does anybody know what day we celebrated our independence on 1st of July Worcester California sounds so fun our next story is Memorial Day so REI tell us more about Memorial Day my name is Ari and I'm here talking about Memorial Day Memorial Day is a Federal holiday celebrated on Monday 27th in the US for remembering and honoring people who have sadly died while serving Us in u.s. during Armed Forces many people visit cemeteries and memorials on Memorial Day to honor those who in military service place an American flag on each grave in National cemeteries thank you now back to the studio or Buddies well a story about Buddy hi I'm care do you have a little buddy or maybe you have an older one but it is a program and he's supposed to I just heard of the year you get assigned a buddy and do things together for example you read together change gas with each other and have fun each class has buddy the powers are 3rd and Kinder 4th and 1st and or second and fifth with second grade what are you with your buddy do you read together give gifts or maybe just have fun that's all about buddies now back to the studio it's nice to take a break from hard math and have some fun with the younger kids here's a funny joke what type of music are balloons scared of pop music let's learn more about it hello my name is coming from so I knew today I'm here conch to talk about them music performers this is, I've been wondering how long have you been interested in music well I will say I was born as my parent as love music play different kind of music around and when I was and I was involving different instrument I was playing recorder I was playing a lot of singing and dancing a dementor so that's how I started well that's a long time and what instruments do you play a flute I play an orchestra hours of play Piccolo is also my another instrument which I play for many many years that you have taught ringtone music for many many years the students here are lovely and so sweet and you guys are so thoughtful for everything if a music class and so surprised everyone thinks you guys have music class for many many years and so surprised and so happy to see everyone have gray level of Music skill so that's what I found a special thing of Music student here that a student may have a great level of music scale that's really good and I know recently there was a performance so what we can we expect in music performances in the future 12 yr performance we will do different songs in the future there's a lot of material will cover in the future and why are student for my general music class from chica to third grade would do so many different music activity in class every year is different 4th 5th grade General music class will be starting so much of different composer was that a Mormon movie music starting with jazz music in the future and would do a different different kind of percussion instrument okay thank you mrs.
