find me my name is Leah Zack and I miss Isabella Joel We will be your anchors for this month we have so many exciting stories to share but we want to start off semester margin and her class that we hope she feels better because she's going to be out for the rest of the year with a hurt leg hope you get better Miss DiMaggio and our first or this month is about chorus thing at the North Sea the thing at the theater on March 27th 3rd 4th and 5th graders wear the one singing montemalaga wasn't the only school they're Point Vicente of soil to join them they sing on opening night great job on March 30th didn't count House of Pancakes and pajamas student council serve the kids and parents that came for some delicious pancakes let's who Miss Lazar had to say take it away Isabella hello my name is Isabella and I'm not hearing this is bizarre pancake and pajamas times 40. This is our second year of Pancakes and pajamas at student council can you take you out the day right before everyone goes on spring break how many people is in Harry Potter about 200 people so that's about 432 drop the toppings Yelp is marshmallow strawberry and the kids really loved all the toppings and then I got a question is how many people did you play with Spokane had a great turnout as you had in Canadian schools I don't know but we have time to care then tons of parents and it's a really fun event went on an hour thank you this is our back to this today flourless pancakes sure did look at it a few weeks ago and dancing in the NPR coach Christian taught the 5th graders five different types of dances let's see what the 5th graders thought about it hello today I'm here with ioni and Kathy they're both participating in the fifth grade ballroom dancing and we have some questions for them so guys at the beginning how did you feel about Barney dancing at the end how did you feel I felt in the beginning a little like nervous and awkward nothing through someone else but as soon as I got over my fear and not fear but like Dennis and whatever at the end I was enjoying it and I had a lot of fun Kansas practically and who are your partners back and I had to I had Max theater and Andrew Liu what games did you do with your partner out of the swing and I did the Cha-Cha Waltz swing and disco thank you too I'm here with Noah and Charlie they both were in the ballroom dancing to how did you feel at first how did you feel at the end of first I was just kind of whatever I mean you don't really have a choice to do this and I kind of put into it and I didn't really want to do it but at the end I was like it was a good experience and vegetarian for no school at the beginning I don't know that I was like ready for it but yeah I didn't know it was going to do and then at the end I don't know it was kind of fun I guess yeah. Partners are Sophia and out of the wall today you're so confused I sent and I didn't win the moment I did the waltz with Natalie and the swing of Natalie and then we all did the hustle take me to great job on April 1st that's when Easter was Easter is a Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ Easter is always between March 21st and April 25th on the first Sunday after the first full moon kids celebrate fight looking for Easter eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny we just heard a story about Easter else happens on April 1st April Fool's Day has been thought to be to go on it since the 1700s that's a long time we'll see you after the break close ended but the good news has not my name is Asia and I am here in the kindness rocks Garden are student council and PTA retarded for a very own montemalaga student 70s rock little bit of inspiration and a whole lot of kindness and each of them our school has lots of kindness and I'm standing right in the middle of the evidence break this past month on April 9th 3rd. Went on a field trip they walked from the school to park and learned about plants and animals let's see what some students in third grade I just take it away hello I'm here with some third graders and they went on the Walking field trip what did it was it fun for you guys what is one thing you learn neck I learned that if you touch a wild. converting really hurt one of their see Annie I learned about a lot of different types of birds I learned that Palos Verdes used to be under the ocean yeah can I see what did you learned about different types of plants sounds like you guys learned a lot thank you hope you had a good time back to this did you know that April 11th was National Pet Day because it was I'm sure you love your dog catfish Pony whatever you animal you may have a lot but our National Pet Day is it day we spoil them with treats and lots and lots and lots and lots of snuggles pets are so important to us and I are number one best friend pet National Pet Day was founded in 2005 and has been Rock Solid ever since then let's take a little sneak peek at the logo that leather shirt did look nice this month student council has so many things they're doing we're on the edge of our seats to find out what they're doing next take it away mrs. Reed hello today and he was mrs. Reed who helped student council and today we are going to ask her a few questions about the Marine Mammal drive so our first question for you mrs. Reed is what exactly is the Marine Mammal Center which is the organization we are doing The Jive for the Marine Mammal Center is a veteran and research hospital located in San Pedro so really close to our community and it's a great rehabilitation center for injured marine animals are mainly sea lions and seals and the enter Work to save and I'm kind of repair any rooms and then to eventually hopefully send out those mammals back into their Wildlife that sounds great our next question for you is what is the drive and what are we doing in the drive like that okay so part of student council is to work within the community and neighborhood neighborhood community and to better does communities and one of the things that student council decided is to help animals so we are partnering with the Marine Mammal Center in San Pedro and each grade level is assigned a different item to bring in on these items will have with the surgery on that goes on at this research hospital so for example first grade and fourth grader bringing 13-gallon drawstring trash bags I can create is bringing Dawn dish soap paper towels and fifth grade is bringing in surgical gloves TK is also bringing toilet paper for the Marine Mammal Center and that's really great so our last question for you is what exactly are the school's goals for the Marine Mammal drive and also the Marine Mammal Center great question so because this Marine Mammal Center is all voluntary base these materials are going to be really crucial and helping save the animals these are materials that when donated will be used directly for surgery on the mammals until our goal provided many of the resources that we can if possible had to help them remember center that is really awesome so thank you everybody who is bringing in that stuff to The Marine Mammal Center and also if you have free day on your weekend or you're not busy then I supposed to go and visit and you can see all the mammals thank you for your time. Thank you thank you so much Lucy Anna misses Reed are you recycling reducing your trash and reusing because April 22nd was Earth day I hope you showed your appreciation for Earth by wearing green and helping out in your community I'm not same-day all Girl Scout leaders are appreciated by their troop Girl Scouts are all about helping the community but this can't be done without their leader we are going to talk to some trips and see what they think about the heater take it away Leah I like today what time are the girls from each of the three troops so what are you guys doing teacher leaders names you want to start sewing and wonderful with Amaya I mean aliens I'm cute Leaders name is Miss kattman locate my TV Black Ops 2 so what do you guys appreciate about your troop leader what do you like I like about what I like about you eat her if she takes test on a lot of different places and I mean have I know we have meetings every month Ali about my troop leader is she's very funny and if we do something wrong she just try again fake I like our troop leader because she takes out so I'm not a field trip so I can tell her know that a lot of different things I like this  because she takes her on a lot of different find me field trips and she teaches us a lot of new things and then Leah because she takes inside a lot of exciting stuff like her head and then you get to spend the night in Kitty to the salon about nature and living thank you guys so much I hope you guys love being on love being a Girl Scout as much as I do thank you for watching Sorry Miss see you next time bye oh and don't forget about Mother's Day coming up
