hello welcome back to the store we have some fabulous stories to share with you our first stories about the Winter Olympics the Winter Olympics was hosted in pyeongchang South Korea if you can on Friday February 9th to Sunday February 25th interview be an altar Kim who actually went to the Winter Olympics let's see what they have to say about it hello my name is Leah and today I'm here with Walter and B and they both went to the Olympics this past February so let's see what they have to say about our first question for you guys how did it feel being at the Olympics it's all good to be at the Olympics cuz it just had like a Cool vibe to it cuz there was a lot of like cuz there and stuff and I was also really cold yeah yeah I saw that Walter how did you feel about it keep it cold any cold or second question is I know you two are both snow so who is your favorite snowboarder my favorite snowboarder at the Olympics was probably Maddie Mastro she started snowboarding when she was little and she made her debut at the Winter Olympics Walter who's your favorite my favorite wasn't at the Olympics who's your favorite activity red Gerard Style Winter Olympics USA wow go team okay and which country do you guys before it America and Canada and frangipane thank you guys you guys look like so much fun back to the studio 3.1415 +92-653-589-7930 sorry I was trying to memorize digits of pi because March 14th is Friday Pi the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter over 1 million digits that's probably where I can't memorize it to space Gray House a competition for reciting Pi let's see some pictures and into a short interview with the facility that we did earlier today hello I'm here with Priscilla Kim who's the winner of the fifth grade reciting Pi contest South Presa I first question for you was how did you feel when you were reciting digits of pi well I was pretty nervous cuz I didn't want mess up and like not reach my goal in which I wanted to do what exactly what I wanted to do 200 digits but on the day of the morning of the contest I decided I should do like a little bit more just in case so I did 211 digits question what did you win for the contest winning in our class I got a free Mary calendars double crusted pie or pumpkin pie and for winning in the grade I got the pie face game which is Define I played it over the weekend with some of my friends thank you for your time two people games good job at hiding messages for sale I hope everyone had a fabulous project okay I know that's how it shows last night but it was so late in the month we couldn't get into February story so we're doing it in March we interviewed some of the performers after the talent show to listen to their experiences this is Bella and Lana they were both in the talent show so how many acts did you guys do to you both me to axe yeah well that's cool Bella what were your ex well I did a really fun dance to girl just want to have fun we sing and dance and I also did an act with my sister Aria and it was to Ho Hey by The Lumineers that's cool what did you do so I also do girls this one was very fun we did dance and I also did a gymnastics act with one of my good friends Olga that's fun where you guys excited or nervous when you first got it was kind of scary but it was also very yeah that's that's what I would say to and our final question is did you guys appreciate how you went and did you like like the final outcome of it yeah I like yeah yeah how much I really appreciate my friends and how much I like my sister and my guitar that's cool thank you girls so much great job hi everyone just check from the fun run which of the March 12th everyone did such a good job thank you PT for those popsicles everyone really deserved it Myspace crazy world talk to you soon this grade has been learning about the US Constitution the Constitution was written in the summer of 1787 in 55 delegates from all the states except Rhode Island came to help write the Constitution we had a guest speaker coming to Professor Jessie who will be teaching us more about the Bill of Rights in the Constitution now let's see it interview with him after the presentation hello I'm here with my dad mr. Jesse today to talk about the to talk to the 5th grader at something what exactly did he talk about I talk to the man about the Constitution of the United States what we talked about was checks and balances and separation of powers and we also talked about the Bill of Rights which of the first ten amendments to the Constitution anything that the kids participating and yeah there was yeah yeah there was a lot of participation in addition to questions and answers from students we also had some of the students role play and we had a president and a vice president and a House of Representatives and a senate and Supreme Court and two students who were put on trial for having given their kids dessert when they weren't supposed to under a new law that have been passed tell Jimmy do you think your mission was promised enough for Archbishop fonte to selected replaced it and the things that I have inside it are pretty good for a mission making yours and why cuz I got to work with my family and there were a bunch of different fun things to do Tell Keon did you enjoy making your mission and why I did enjoy making it because it was fun I could work with my family but I okay animation if you enjoy him making your mission as I did like creating my mission because I thought it was fun and I could learn more things on designing a f those are some awesome Mission 4th graders okay now let's talk about dads and Donuts dozen donuts is a fun morning with students dad in front cyst what you is spring a father's to the school for breakfast the dads and children have so much fun together the dad also going to hang out with other guys too let's take a sneak peek on that Sunday you might think I'm crazy Austin Convention fourth graders I've been working very hard to make an invention these great inventors have been at it for weeks to create a product that will solve a real-life problem let's look at some inventions have you seen the weather machine in a science lab are very on TK teacher mrs. Fields wrote a grant for that magnificent machine for the ctek let's ask mrs. Fields about there it's wonderful machine and it's wonderful so what's your name Amaya and what's your name so Jordan and Amaya about where the weather machine is located and then is it near a certain classroom it's 5:06 and then where else is it by okay thank you what is your name and how how often do you visit the weather station all the time every day once a week every day every day and what can you tell me your name Nayeli Nayeli how do you take care of the weather station take care of it watch it every day and we see it when we go to snap and we even get lunch and when we go home and see at 6 I'm not here with more students CK so what's your name and what's your name Brayden so what do you guys like about the weather station naked when it spins hello I'm not here at mrs. field we've all been noticing the weather station outside but I'm not sure we know what it does could you explain so this was a grant that was written for montemalaga and the weather station is play you're so that we can see the weather and identify the data that goes with the weather so the weather station is run by solar power and if Gathering solar energy to run the station and then it sends all of its information the rain what the temperature is what the moon cycles are and what kind of rain we're Gathering that's gathered all of the weather station and then they send it to the Monitor and so today we just went to know because California we don't get a lot of rain I want everyone to know that we have 1.73 inch of rain measured from or weather station and the weather so everybody's invited to the weather station in the Monitor and it'll always be here the science club thank you mrs.
