Montemalaga continues to provide an outstanding education for all students. Our commitment to preparing students for college and career readiness continues to be very important in the weekly planning and instruction by our faculty. Montemalaga is excited to implement a positive approach to school behavior as we work to develop the whole child. Additionally, Montemalaga places much emphasis on Character Development as we make great choices according to our Second Step curriculum. Character traits and leadership skills are highlighted and practiced with a variety of activities throughout each month. Students are learning that "success is happiness in your heart because you made the effort 100% to do your best". All boys and girls are reminded weekly of making good character choices at school and at home. The Montemalaga staff is collaborative, creative and caring. The Montemalaga motto is, "Be your best self...the choice is yours."
