Happy rainy Monday morning everyone!
I hope you were able to enjoy some free time over your Spring Break.
From this point on, please find all information on our Edlio page.
Look at the 2nd tab on the right for the weekly overview. You can use that as a check off as you do assignments.
Look under each subject tab for more specific information. Email me with any questions you have, and I will do my best to help you.
Please watch the videos about how to use the Wonders website. They contain information about how to use the "To Do" section, which is where your Wonders work is assigned. You can access all assignments from the To Do section. If you are assigned something to read, it can also be accessed from the "Read" section.
At the end of the textbook assignments you may be assigned a question or two to answer. You will find those questions at the bottom of the pages. Next to those questions is a little black circle with a picture of notebook paper inside. Click on the black button and a writing area will pop up. You can answer the questions there. After typing in your answer, click on "save" at the bottom right. Then click on "submit". You should see the assignment is checked off on your To Do list. There is also the ability to type your Your Turn Practice Book assignments directly onto the page and submit those in the same way. In that way I can see the work you did. You may still do those assignments in your actual book though.
I will be posting the Science review sheet later today, so don't worry if you don't get to that today. I am having some problems with that file.
I will be doing some trainings this week so that I can add more ways to connect with you, and our class can become more interactive. I am hoping to use Microsoft Teams, which is another way we can chat and submit assignments, so I will send information about that soon, and we can get started with some practice using that this week hopefully. You should also try using Outlook from the portal to email your journal work today. If that doesn't work, just write it on paper, or email me from your parent's email. I haven't seen how it works for students yet, so I can't really answer questions about it.
When we get more direction from the district office, I will be able to give you more information about what we will be doing in the future about grading and other concerns you may have.
I miss seeing each of you each day and our classroom interactions.
Sincerely,
Ms. Smith
