A little bit about me:
This will be my 20th year teaching in PVPUSD. I have taught 5th grade at Dapplegray, 6th-8th grade ELD support and reading intervention at Ridgecrest, and 3rd-5th grade PVDLA (distance learning). Teaching is a commitment that I enjoy. It is my mission to create a student centered environment where students feel empowered and begin to take responsibility for their learning and the choices they make in their lives. I intend to facilitate your child’s learning and interests in all areas of the curriculum and work with your child on developing a positive self-image and good character traits. I am dedicated to helping all of my students reach their full potential. I will challenge students and hold high expectations of them academically and behaviorally.
When I'm not at school:
I love surfing, traveling, running, gardening and spending time with family and friends. I also practice yoga regularly, devour audiobooks one after the other, read all of the time, relish crossword puzzles, and cook up new recipes.
